Dr. Thao is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine who has served the Merced County community through Merced Faculty Associates for more than 20 years. Known for her compassion and dedication, she is committed to providing patients with quality care and support. Chris Bounlansy is the owner of Bangkok Thai Restaurant and a longtime community leader in Merced County. He serves as CEO of the Vatthanatham Lao Foundation, is a board member of the Merced Main Street Association, and previously served six years as Treasurer of the Lao Association of Merced. Known for his generosity and commitment to community service, Chris regularly donates food and supports nonprofit organizations, fundraising events, and cultural celebrations. Phil Wayne Schmauss is a nonprofit professional and community leader with more than 15 years of experience serving Merced County. His work includes nonprofit management, program development, fundraising, homelessness services, and trauma-informed care. Through leadership roles with ACE Overcomers, United Way of Merced County, and the Merced County Rescue Mission, Phil has helped strengthen programs, partnerships, and resources that support individuals and families throughout the community.
